The 2009 Statewide Arts Conference is designed to equip artists and arts organizations with tools needed to navigate today's tough terrain and prepare for the future. Develop new skills, discover creative ways to employ existing resources and draw on the camaraderie of colleagues to learn best practices and new ideas. Be prepared to fuel your work and fire up your endurance!
This one-day event is designed to make the most of your time by offering multiple ways to network and learn. "Swift Sessions" provide a 30-minute overview of key topics, and "Curbside Consulting" allows 15 minutes for a quick check-in with experts in nonprofit administration and board governance issues. Peer Group gatherings and Open Space sessions put you in charge of connecting and conferring with others. Concurrent workshops offer in-depth insight on several topics.
