How to Build a Strong Grant Application

Monica Miller, Artist Trust's Director of Programs, will present information on how to apply for grants successfully. The workshop will give tips on preparing a strong grant application, including "dos and don'ts" for work samples, artist résumés, project proposals, and more. Artist Trust's Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) application will be used as an example and guide. The workshop will also share insider’s knowledge about panel and selection processes.

Artist Trust Announces Fellowship Application for Crafts, Literary, Media and Music Artists in Washington State

Artists practicing in Craft Arts, Literary Arts, Media Arts, and Music Arts in Washington State are eligible to apply for the Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship Program. This program recognizes practicing professional artists of exceptional talent and demonstrated ability, acknowledging an artist’s creative excellence and accomplishment, professional achievement, and continuing dedication to their artistic discipline.  The total award amount is $7,500.
