Investing in Artists: CCI Grant Guidelines and Application Now Available

The Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) has published guidelines for the Investing in Artists grant program.  The program  was established in 2007 to strengthen the support system for California artists in all disciplines and provides grants up to $10,000 to individual artists.

The current round of grants is designated for Performing and Media Arts applicants only.  The deadline for submitting applications online is July 15, 2009.

CCI is hosting a series of webinars to provide a general orientation to the Investing in Artists grants program application and funding guidelines. Each conference call will include:

    * An overview of the application guidelines and criteria.
    * An overview of the online application form via CultureGrants Online™.
    * Q & A

Webinars will be offered at the following dates and times:

    * Tuesday, June 16 from 12 noon - 1:00 pm
    * Wednesday, June 17 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm
    * Thursday, June 18 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
    * Tuesday, June 23 from 10:00 - 11:00 am
    * Wednesday, June 24 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm
    * Thursday, June 25 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm  

The webinar will include a simultaneous web presentation. You do not need to have web access to participate in the webinar, but you do need it to view the presentation.
