LINC is building a collaborative network of innovative arts leaders and local partners across the country who are leveraging ideas, strategies, and successes for improving artists’ livelihoods. In service of LINC’s other programs, Information Networks is our system for research, organization, and dissemination of information to this group and to the public.
A core part of this program is working to implement Web 2.0 tools to foster
more efficient, collaborative knowledge resources and publishing. By expanding, uniting and enhancing existing
systems, LINC is creating integrated, searchable networks that will help to
unite the fragmented terrain artists must cover to track down answers and
resources.
In tandem with any other work that we do, LINC has also strived to gather, organize, and disseminate information, either by commissioning studies or through the documentation and publication of projects. Through this, LINC is creating a rich learning network of arts organizations to share data and lessons learned.
