How to Build a Strong Grant Application

Monica Miller, Artist Trust's Director of Programs, will present information on how to apply for grants successfully. The workshop will give tips on preparing a strong grant application, including "dos and don'ts" for work samples, artist résumés, project proposals, and more. Artist Trust's Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) application will be used as an example and guide. The workshop will also share insider’s knowledge about panel and selection processes. Along with receiving detailed information on how to prepare all grant-application materials, participants will learn how to access the vast array of grant possibilities available to Washington State artists.

All workshops are free although a $5 donation is requested, and pre-registration is required with Artist Trust except where noted. Contact 206/467-8734 x10; 866/218-7878 x10; or monica@artisttrust.org to register.
