Creative Communities Project

Artist INC:

In May 2009 the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City partnered with Charlotte Street Foundation to launch Artist INC, an entrepreneurial and small business training seminar for artists. The program is designed to serve diverse, multidisciplinary emerging and established artists, and will be offered five times over a two-year period. Training topics include strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, and technology, among others. In addition, in late fall 2009, the KC Artist Link website will launch, offering programs and services benefiting artists and arts organizations through an easy-to-navigate comprehensive database with call-in support.
