Cleveland's Community Partnership for Arts and Culture announces a new fellowship program.
Last week, The Cleveland Free Times highlighted the current work being done by Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) on behalf of Cuyahoga Arts and Culture as an exciting new awards program reminiscent of the historical Works Progress Administration.
The new Creative Workforce Fellowship program, outlined by Tom Schorgl, CPAC’s president/CEO, will offer $20,000 grants to a total of forty artists. There will be two cycles for the award: one cycle for the visual arts, design, crafts, and media arts; another cycle for the performing arts, interdisciplinary work, and literature. Twenty grants will be made in each cycle.
Workshops for prospective applicants will be offered this winter, and application deadlines are slated for end of March or early April.
