How to Apply

The call for proposals for Planning and Pre-Development Grants is now closed.  Applicants will be notified of their application status by mail once the review period has concluded.  Please note that we do not anticipate administering an additional cycle of grantmaking at this time.

Application Process 

  • The deadline for the second cycle of grants was September 17, 2010.  Second-cycle LOI will be reviewed from September 22 – November 3, 2010 (for LOI received between May 29 and September 17, 2010). We anticipate notifying second-cycle applicants of their final award status by late December 2010.  
  • Applicants were encouraged to apply as early in the review period as possible to ensure LINC’s team can conduct site visits. If a site visit cannot be scheduled, a full application cannot go to the selection panel.  
  • LINC will invite organizations with strong LOI to submit a full proposal within 30 days of receiving the LOI. At that time a site visit will also be scheduled for approximately 6 weeks from the point of proposal invitation.
  • Applicants invited to full proposals will have a maximum of 4 weeks to return their full application and supplementary materials.

Applicants invited to submit a full proposal will be asked to provide additional information at that stage.
